Paisley Things was established in Jakarta, 2011, with the aim of supporting local artisans to return to their homes in their respective villages to perpetuate their traditional skills.
Our mission is to reduce migration to larger cities in Indonesia by promoting fair trade practices. We are proud to have spent the past 13 years helping artisans while showcasing Indonesia’s heritage skills and creative talents to the world at our shop.
We believe in empowering these artisans to preserve their cultural heritage, offering them fair wages and safe working conditions, while providing opportunities for growth.
